Yesterday (2/5) we took Cindy and Jeffrey to the TICA&BCF Cat Show.
The day before, we groomed them with the new dryer, which our senior breeder recommended as a very good one! Quite silent but still enough air and we imported it from US.
Even Jeff, whom we did not groom for a quite long time became really fuuuuuury!
Cindy who does not like the dryer even fell a sleep during the grooming.
And the very day we took them in to the car and left our place at 7 o'clock in the morning.Everything was in a good mood and when we were just a few blocks to the highway gate.... a really wonderful smell filled inside the car...
It was Jeff who delivered this wonderful present of smell... and we had to stop at the parking lot of the convenience store to take care of his bottom.Luckily, only his back left feet and part of his proud tail were damaged. We though it won't take so long to clean it up.But there came the bikers, a nasty ones and were creating a large noisy engine sound.
Jeff suddenly started to get rid of it and was frightened quite badly.
We had to give up cleaning there and re-headed to the show hall.
After reaching the hall, setting up 2 show shelters, we started to re-groom Jeff.
At that time Cindy was already in a mood to go under the spot light and was relaxing. (Thank it was not Cindy! Jeff is more easier to maintain.)
By using lots and lots of dry shampoo powder, finally we succeeded to recover Jeff's coat.
As I was again doing the clerk so I had to say good bye to them.
So I couldn't see how two of them were doing at the show, only at the ring where I was sticking to.
Next to our shelter were Aman Group "Summer Palace" and "Aman Group New Delhi".
Summer Palace is a big red classic boy whom is the best pal of Ruya (aka Chris).
And Summer Palace and our Jeff looks like, the only difference is size. Jeff is enough big at his age but Summer Place is more large by only 3 weeks elder.
He has good temperature is really a "Gentle Giant" !
Show ended around 17:30 and I was afraid to hear the result of our cats.
Because last time when Cindy won 8 finals, 5 out of 8 were from the Judges from overseas.
Half curious and half afraid, I had to hear about the result.
How was Cindy evaluated by the Japanese Judges, additional to this she is a female and her coat color is not the major one.
And about Jeff, this was his debut show for the Championship and already 3 months has passed from the last show which he has attended.
The result was Cindy won 5 finals out of 8 and Jeff won 2.
Cindy became TGC and Jeff became CH.
Was a very very happy result and I am really proud of them that they did their best.
In younger days, I used to call Jeff and his litter mates "Magnificent 7 of 2011" and/or Cindy's Pupils.
Jeff and Cindy are cousins and looks like they enjoyed each and every ring + photo sessions.

Was a wonderful show and I really enjoyed watching beautiful kittens and cats!
And as usual, thanks to the ones waited for us at our place, thank you so much messing our home! :-(((
